The Cornival

The Cornival is made up of TWELVE different fun filled family activities going on at once.  This year, we have added FIVE new attractions to The Cornival which we are certain will be a hit with both the young and young at heart.
Please note:  During the weekdays the attractions that are open are;  The Jumping Pillow, Animals for viewing, Corn Boxes, Hay Rides and Pony Rides, Pumpkin Princess Castle, Gold Mining, and the Snack Shack with a minimized menu.

Dave's Jumping Pillow

Bigger than some houses, the trampoline-lover in you will come bursting out when you hop onto Sacramento County's only jumping pillow. It is a one-of-a-kind bouncing experience for the whole family.  It is suitable for all ages, so it’s fantastic fun for the whole family to enjoy - and a great way for kids to use up all that boundless energy.  These pillows are specially designed and constructed with safety in mind being low level with no sharp edges or steep sides to fall off.  The sky’s the limit as you bounce away without a care in the world!  Our pillow is protected from the elements too so you can jump away rain or shine.  This is by far one of our most popular attractions!  No shoes on this one though... cubbies are provided.

We do ask that our guests be considerate of others by taking turns when lines may form during peak attendance periods.

Corn Box
Pumpkin Princess Castle

Located near the center of the Cornival fun is Pumpkin City.  Our new city will be host to many activities this year at the patch including our annual costume contest and story time with the Pumpkin Princess.  Complete with a castle and a stage, Pumpkin City will also be the place where your little Pumpkin Princess and Prince can come choose a princess gown or prince attire from the royal dressing area and strut their stuff on the runway.  Be sure to bring your cameras for this fun and totally interactive activity all kids will enjoy!

One of the biggest hits on the farm!  The Corn Box is just that, a sandbox filled with corn.  Shovels and buckets are provided but please remember to keep shoes on in the corn in the box.

Pony Rides
Hay Rides
Kiddie Hay Maze

If you're looking for an old fashioned Hay Ride, then you've found the right place! Come experience a true family farm experience that the whole family will enjoy.

We can't promise any ghosts or goblins on this ride, but we can promise you and your family a fun adventure while driving through the patch!

Please note: Due to safety reasons our hay rides only run until it's dark.  Remember, "dark" can change from day to day...so, if you want to come to the farm and ride the Hay Ride and you plan to come late in the day, please do the Hay Ride early.

A great place for the little ones to get lost without YOU getting scared. This attraction is suitable for toddlers, young kiddos and even the pre-teens enjoy a quick run through the hay.

Take a ride with "Armando's Pony Pals" where you can be led or ride yourself through the patch on one of his ponies or even his horses!

Armando is a skilled horse handler, so rest assured your kids are in good hands. We call Armando our resident "horse whisperer."

Please Note:  Due to safety reasons our pony rides have a different time schedule than the farm.

Sunday - Thursday 10am-5pm
Friday and Saturday 10am-6pm

Baby Goats

We are proud to welcome Chocolate and Chip and their family to the patch this year.  Stop by their goat condo to meet the family, watch them eat, play, and go about their day.  You may even be lucky enough to stop by at milking time.  You'll love watching this goat family so much that you'll wish they had their own reality show.

Our official patch pig Nitro has retired from racing but we have a whole new piggie racing crew recruited and ready to get the crowd cheering!  Come down each weekend to pick your favorite pig and watch the races.

chickensville

Be sure to stop by and check out some of the finest chickens this side of Folsom.  Dave has worked hard to scour the countryside to find  some of the prettiest, goofiest and most entertaining chickens around.  Watch out though girls, there's only one rooster in Chickensville and things are bound to get a little Real Chickenwives of Dave's Pumpkin Patch around here!  So stop by Chickenville to watch the crazy antics of this gang.

You won't believe it till you see it. Pumpkins flying 500 yards in the air! This one will blow you away.

Punkin Chunkin is primarily a "weekend" only event.  We "aim to shoot" the cannon every hour on the hour, but sometimes, we're able to do it twice an hour.  So when you hear the air horn blow, you may want to cover your ears and watch out!
